About the Greenlake Community

Literally just down the block from The Chesapeake, Seattle's Green Lake Park is a favorite outdoor destination for many residents.

If you're into walking, jogging, bike riding, or just want to take a break lounging in the sun, you'll find plenty of like-minded people along Greenlake's 3-mile trail loop. The park provides a bustling, yet peaceful escape from city life, with numerous facilities including tennis courts, an indoor pool, soccer and baseball fields, and a beach area complete with a small boat launch.

As you loop around Green Lake Way, you'll find a diverse assortment of interesting shops and restaurants. As for groceries and other necessities, most can be found within walking distance. For everything else, downtown Seattle and I-5 are both just a short drive away. Alternatively, nearby bus routes can take you to just about any point of interest in the greater Seattle area.

There's even some fish out there, if you've got a pole.
